Bollywood में एक surprise package आ गया है! Film “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” (HJTIHH) ने अपने Day 1 पर ₹8.50 crore की solid box office collection की है। यह opening figures trade experts को surprise कर गए क्योंकि इस film से इतनी बड़ी opening की उम्मीद नहीं थी।
National chains में film ने 25,000 से ज्यादा tickets sell किए जो एक healthy number है। Total opening ₹8.65 crore रही जिसमें advance booking और walk-in audiences दोनों का contribution है। Film की positive word-of-mouth और social media buzz ने इसे help किया।
इसी weekend में release हुई दूसरी film “Peddi” (Hindi) ने ₹3 crore की opening की जबकि “Chand Mera Dil” ₹1 crore के mark से ऊपर बनी रही। Box office पर competition के बावजूद HJTIHH ने अपनी अलग audience बना ली है।
Romance और comedy का यह combination Bollywood में हमेशा से popular रहा है। Film की star cast और music को audience ने accept किया है। यदि word-of-mouth positive रहा तो film अपनी first week में double digit collection कर सकती है।
Trade analysts मान रहे हैं कि film का weekend collection 25-28 crore तक जा सकता है। यह एक mid-budget film के लिए एक healthy range होगी। Bollywood के लिए यह एक encouraging signal है कि audience diverse content को theaters में देखने आ रही है।
