21 जून 2026 को Indian Men’s Hockey Team ने Rotterdam में FIH Pro League के अपने आखिरी Netherlands leg match में Olympic champion Netherlands को 3-2 से हरा दिया। यह India के लिए एक बड़ी जीत है क्योंकि Netherlands दुनिया की top hockey teams में से एक है और reigning Olympic champion है।
India की तरफ से goals Jugraj Singh, Abhishek और Rajinder Singh ने किए। Craig Fulton की coached Indian team ने defensive discipline और counter-attacking hockey का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। हालांकि Netherlands के पास ball possession ज़्यादा रही, लेकिन India के goalkeeper और defenders ने कमाल का काम किया।
इससे पहले India ने Netherlands leg में Germany के खिलाफ भी matches खेले थे। June 17 और 18 को Germany के खिलाफ hue matches में भी India ने competitive hockey दिखाई। Overall FIH Pro League में India का performance इस season काफी improved है।
अब India की team London, England में अपने अगले matches खेलेगी। 23 जून को Pakistan के खिलाफ और 26 जून को England के खिलाफ matches scheduled हैं। India vs Pakistan hockey match हमेशा से एक high-voltage encounter होता है और fans इसका बेसब्री से इंतज़ार कर रहे हैं।
Indian hockey का revival recent years में बेहद उत्साहजनक रहा है। Paris Olympics 2024 में भी India ने strong performance दिखाई थी। FIH Pro League में Netherlands जैसी team को हराना यह prove करता है कि India world hockey में एक serious contender बन चुका है।
