India की धरती पर पहली बार World Yogasana Sports Championship का आयोजन हो रहा है। 4 June 2026 को Ahmedabad, Gujarat में शुरू हुई इस championship में दुनियाभर के योग athletes participate कर रहे हैं। PM Modi ने इसे India की soft power का प्रतीक बताया।
क्या है Yogasana Sports Championship?
Yogasana एक competitive sport है जिसमें athletes yoga poses को precision, flexibility और grace के साथ perform करते हैं। इसे International Yoga Sports Federation (IYSF) ने officially recognize किया है। इस championship में traditional yoga को modern sports format में present किया गया है।
India की Hosting — Soft Power का दांव
21 June को International Yoga Day मनाया जाता है — और India ने इस championship को उसी के आसपास रखा है। Modi government ने yoga को global level पर promote करने में बड़ा investment किया है। 177 countries में International Yoga Day मनाया जाता है जो India की cultural diplomacy की बड़ी जीत है।
Ahmedabad — Perfect Host City
Gujarat और Ahmedabad India की sports hosting capital बनती जा रही है। Recently Modi ने Gujarat में industrial और infrastructure projects का review किया। Ahmedabad में world-class Narendra Modi Stadium पहले से है। GIFT City जैसा financial hub भी यहीं है।
Yoga का बढ़ता Global Market
Global yoga market अब $80 billion से ऊपर है। India इस market का originator है लेकिन revenue में पीछे रहा। इस championship से India yoga tourism और training को promote करना चाहता है। Ayurveda और yoga tourism को combine करके India एक नया revenue stream बना रहा है।
