Digital India की दिशा में एक और बड़ा कदम उठाया गया है। June 4, 2026 को West Bengal Legislative Assembly ने National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) को implement करने के लिए MoU sign किया। इसके साथ West Bengal India का 33वां legislature बन गया जिसने इस digital platform को adopt किया है।
इस MoU signing ceremony में केंद्रीय मंत्री Kiren Rijiju, Arjun Ram Meghwal और L. Murugan भी मौजूद थे। National e-Vidhan Application एक cloud-based platform है जो Parliament और State Legislatures को paperless बनाने के लिए designed किया गया है।
e-Vidhan के तहत MLAs और MPs को physical documents की जरूरत नहीं होगी। Bills, notices, questions और other legislative business सभी digitally handle होंगे। इससे न सिर्फ paper और printing का खर्च बचेगा, बल्कि transparency और efficiency भी बढ़ेगी।
भारत का संसदीय लोकतंत्र digital transformation के एक नए दौर में प्रवेश कर रहा है। 33 states और UTs ने e-Vidhan adopt कर लिया है। यह initiative “One Nation One Application” के vision का हिस्सा है — जो India के governance को modern और efficient बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
West Bengal, जो traditionally technology adoption में थोड़ा slower रहा है, का e-Vidhan में join होना एक positive signal है। इससे State Assembly की proceedings ज्यादा transparent होंगी और citizens को real-time information access मिलेगी। Digital governance India का future है — और e-Vidhan इस दिशा में एक solid step है।
