India की manufacturing और export story एक नया chapter लिख रही है। Financial year 2025-26 में India के engineering exports ने $122.43 billion का record high छुआ। यह 2014-15 के $70 billion से लगभग double है — एक दशक में यह incredible growth India की industrial transformation को दर्शाती है।
Engineering Exports Promotion Council (EEPC) के data के अनुसार इस growth में automobiles, machinery, industrial equipment, steel products, और electronic components का major contribution रहा। India अब न सिर्फ IT services में बल्कि physical manufacturing में भी global player बन रहा है।
Make in India और Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes ने इस transformation में key role निभाई है। PLI schemes ने domestic manufacturing को globally competitive बनाने में मदद की। Foreign companies ने India में manufacturing facilities set up कीं जिससे exports और employment दोनों बढ़े।
Major export destinations में USA, Europe, UAE, और Southeast Asia शामिल हैं। China+1 strategy के तहत कई global companies China से manufacturing shift कर India में ला रही हैं। यह India के लिए एक massive opportunity है जिसे सरकार effectively capture करने की कोशिश कर रही है।
Tata Motors, Mahindra, और L&T जैसी Indian companies globally expand कर रही हैं। साथ ही Samsung, Apple suppliers, और European manufacturers India में production बढ़ा रहे हैं। यह combination India की export story को और strong बना रहा है।
Government का target है कि 2030 तक engineering exports $200 billion तक पहुँचे। इसके लिए infrastructure improvement, skill development, और ease of doing business reforms continue हैं। India का यह export surge global trade में देश की growing importance का proof है।
