India ne battlefield medicine ke field mein ek badi cchalaang lagayi hai. Gurgaon-based medtech company SS Innovations International ne do revolutionary indigenous robotic systems taiyar kiye hain — Project Vimana aur Project Operion — jo yudh ke maidan mein ghayal soldiers ki jaan bacha sakte hain.
Project Vimana ka maksad hai golden hour — yani injury aur evacuation ke beech ka crucial samay — ko bridge karna. Ise ek heavy-lift autonomous drone ke through forward combat areas tak pahunchaya jaata hai, jahan trauma surgeons ek command centre se remote-control ke zariye surgery kar sakte hain.
System mein dual seven-degree-of-freedom miniature robotic arms lage hain jo haemorrhage control se lekar chest decompression aur shrapnel removal tak, kai tarah ki emergency procedures kar sakte hain.
Project Operion ek fully mobile operating suite hai jise zero-footprint architecture ke saath banaya gaya hai. Ye 360-degree surgical access deta hai aur tele-surgery ke liye bhi ready hai, jisse door-daraz ilaakon mein bhi expert doctors ka ilaaj pahuncha ja sakta hai.
Dono innovations ko Union Minister of State (Health) Pratap Rao Jadhav ne SMRSC Global Robotic Surgery Conference mein launch kiya tha. Ye India ki defence-medical technology mein aatmanirbharta ki ek badi misaal hai.
