2026 का सबसे बड़ा global crisis — Iran और America के बीच जंग — India को कैसे affect कर रही है? February 28, 2026 को जब US और Israel ने Iran पर air strikes शुरू कीं और Iran के supreme leader Ali Khamenei की हत्या हुई, तब से पूरी दुनिया की energy supply disrupted हो गई।
Iran ने Strait of Hormuz — जो दुनिया के 20% oil trade का रास्ता है — को practically बंद कर दिया। India के लिए यह एक बड़ा crisis था। हमारे देश की 88% crude oil requirements imports से पूरी होती हैं, और इनमें से बड़ा हिस्सा Gulf से आता था जो Hormuz से होकर गुज़रता था। इसके अलावा, 60% LPG demand भी इसी route से आती थी। Result? LPG की long queues, price hike, और supply delays।
लेकिन India ने जल्दी strategy बदली। Russian crude oil imports June में 39% बढ़कर average 2.66 million barrels per day हो गई, जो May में 1.91 million bpd थी। Russia ने competitive pricing offer की और India ने अपनी energy security को top priority रखा।
Good news यह है कि June 14 को mediators ने एक Memorandum of Understanding announce किया जो इस conflict को formally end करने की ओर है, और June 17 को US और Iran के presidents ने इस पर sign भी किए। उम्मीद है कि अगले 60 दिनों में situation normalize हो जाएगी।
India के लिए सबक यह है कि energy diversification कितनी जरूरी है। PM Modi की सरकार coal gasification, renewable energy, और multiple import sources से oil खरीदने की strategy को और मजबूत करने में लगी है।
