India की healthcare और pharmaceutical sector के लिए एक बड़ी खुशखबरी है। FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) और Eli Lilly and Company (India) ने मिलकर ‘Bharat Life Sciences Awards’ launch करने का announcement किया है। यह India का first-of-its-kind national platform है जो life sciences research में excellence को recognize करेगा।
इन awards का मकसद India में life sciences research, capability development, और public health impact में outstanding contributions को national recognition देना है। यह एक long-overdue initiative है — India के scientists और researchers world-class काम कर रहे हैं लेकिन उन्हें adequate recognition नहीं मिल रही थी।
Inaugural Bharat Life Sciences Awards ceremony October 1, 2026 को होगी। यह date India में scientific community के लिए एक milestone बनेगी।
India की pharmaceutical industry दुनिया की “pharmacy of the world” है। India दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा generic medicines manufacturer है और लगभग 200 देशों को medicines export करता है। ऐसे में यह awards program industry को और motivate करेगा।
Eli Lilly जैसी global pharma company का इस initiative में partner होना दिखाता है कि international organizations भी India के life sciences ecosystem में invest करना चाहते हैं। यह India-global collaboration का एक positive example है।
FICCI के Secretary General ने कहा कि ये awards न सिर्फ achievements celebrate करेंगे बल्कि young scientists को inspire करेंगे। India में healthcare innovation को next level तक ले जाने के लिए ऐसे recognition platforms जरूरी हैं।
