India के startup ecosystem के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी! Cabinet ने Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 (FoF 2.0) को मंज़ूरी दे दी है — इसका total corpus ₹10,000 करोड़ है। यह ambitious initiative Indian startup ecosystem में venture capital mobilize करने के लिए है, खासतौर पर उन sectors में जहाँ commercial VCs अभी तक कम active हैं।
FoF 2.0 के तहत funding का focus किन areas पर होगा? सबसे पहले — Deep Tech startups: यानी AI, robotics, quantum computing, biotech और advanced manufacturing में काम करने वाले founders। दूसरा — Early growth stage startups जो smaller AIFs से supported हैं लेकिन जिन्हें scale करने के लिए capital की ज़रूरत है। तीसरा — Technology-driven और innovative manufacturing startups।
India के startup ecosystem की बात करें तो — 2026 में India में 207,000 से ज़्यादा recognised startups हैं, कम से कम 112 unicorns हैं और startup economy की value $350 billion से ज़्यादा है। यह दुनिया के top 3 startup ecosystems में से एक है। फिर भी deep tech में India अभी US और China से काफी पीछे है — FoF 2.0 उसी gap को bridge करने की कोशिश है।
हालाँकि 2026 में funding में overall 17.88% की drop आई है 2025 की तुलना में। लेकिन AI-integrated startups valuations 2-3x ज़्यादा पा रहे हैं। June 1-6 के week में Indian startups ने $187.4 million raise किए — AI sector clearly lead कर रहा है। Firstclub, Simpl Energy और TrueFan AI इस साल के notable names हैं।
Experts का कहना है कि FoF 2.0 सही direction में सही time पर आया है। February 2026 में India AI Impact Summit के बाद जब $200 billion investment commitments आए थे, तब से India sovereign AI development में serious हो गया है। Sarvam AI, Gan AI जैसे names government compute support पा रहे हैं। अगले 5 साल India के deep tech sector के लिए game-changing हो सकते हैं!
