India का startup ecosystem 2026 में नई ऊंचाइयां छू रहा है! June 2026 तक भारत में 132 unicorn companies हैं और इस साल अभी तक $7.9 billion की funding 793 equity rounds में raise की गई है। India अब global startup ecosystem में top 3 में शामिल है।
2026 की सबसे exciting unicorn story है Skyroot की, जो May 7, 2026 को unicorn club में join हुई। Space tech startup Skyroot ने $60 million का Series C funding raise किया। इससे पहले AI startup Neysa ने February में $600 million Series B raise कर $1.4 billion valuation हासिल की, जो Blackstone ने lead किया।
Fintech में KreditBee ने April 2026 में $220 million Series E raise कर unicorn status पाया। $1.5 billion valuation के साथ यह India के fastest growing fintech startups में से एक है। Bengaluru 55 unicorns के साथ India का startup capital बना हुआ है, उसके बाद Mumbai (22) और Gurugram (20) हैं।
India के startup success के पीछे कई factors हैं — large domestic market, growing internet penetration, strong engineering talent pool और government की PLI और startup-friendly policies। Digital India initiative ने भी fintech, edtech और healthtech को fuel किया है।
हालांकि funding landscape में cautious optimism है। Investors अब profitability पर ज्यादा focus कर रहे हैं बजाय growth-at-all-costs के। जो startups sustainable business model के साथ आ रहे हैं, उन्हें ही funding मिल रही है। India का startup journey अभी शुरू हुआ है — आने वाले सालों में और बड़े milestones आने की उम्मीद है।
