19 जून 2026 को PM Narendra Modi ने Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi में एक बड़ा कदम उठाया। उन्होंने Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) के तहत ₹2,400 crore के incentives direct beneficiaries को disburse किए। इस scheme के अंतर्गत अब तक देश भर में 70 lakh से ज़्यादा employment opportunities create हो चुकी हैं।
PM Modi ने इस मौके पर कहा, “हमारे देश के युवाओं की aspirations, skills और potential ही Viksit Bharat का रास्ता बनाते हैं।” उन्होंने बताया कि government ने ₹12 lakh crore से ज़्यादा का investment infrastructure में किया है, जिससे employment का एक मज़बूत foundation तैयार हो रहा है।
PM-VBRY एक direct benefit transfer scheme है जो formal sector में नई jobs create करने वाले employers को incentivize करती है। इस scheme के तहत पहली बार EPFO में register होने वाले employees और उनके employers दोनों को financial support दिया जाता है। इससे organized sector में employment बढ़ाने का target रखा गया है।
इस event में industry representatives, beneficiaries और stakeholders सभी शामिल हुए। एक युवा beneficiary ने बताया कि इस scheme की वजह से उन्हें first job secure करने में मदद मिली और employer भी formal hiring करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित हुआ। ऐसी हज़ारों success stories इस scheme की ताकत दिखाती हैं।
Analysts का मानना है कि PM-VBRY जैसी schemes से India की unemployment rate में significant improvement आ सकती है। खासकर manufacturing और services sector में, जहां formal employment अभी भी limited है। 2024-25 में launched इस scheme को अब market में strong response मिल रहा है।
